Gaokao 2020 Ep.4: Gaokao Melodies from Inner Mongolia

Ordos, a city in north China's Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, has a big community of people from the ethnic Mongolian minority group. In Ordos, 12,932 students sat for the 2020 national college exam, or Gaokao in Chinese.

In this episode of the Gaokao 2020 series, Su Yan from the ethnic Mongolian group takes the center stage as a arts recruit for morin khuur, or horsehead fiddle. She finished her last Gaokao item in Wushen Banner, Ordos City on July 9.
