Wang Wancai, a resident of Wangzhuang Village on the outskirts of Tanghe County, central China's Henan Province, used to be a household alcoholic and sluggard who struggled with life, but now he has become a pioneer in eradicating poverty as he reaps a good harvest from farming and industriousness with the help of other locals.
